The moment, in which a building is completed in the real physical world, the umbilical cord between the architect and his child project is cut. The architect is no longer in control and the building all of a sudden starts its own independent life. What happens to the architect's vision as the building is faced with the complexity of everyday life? The time factor makes architecture necessarily incomplete, and buildings are susceptible to changes. On the other hand professional architectural magazines present their readers with photographic representations, based on the perfectly formulated 'unchanging' works of art. This dissertation sees the making process as a timeframe opportunity for the architect to prepare his child project for life. Do the architect's responsibilities end when he delivers the keys of a building?en_GB
