External wall panel construction

Abstract

This work is meant to offer the necessary aids to design new external walls that are not load bearing but achieved by panel construction. The intention was to treat the design and the construction aspects of such walls, rather than the panel-moulding or its production aspects. Such walls are not meant solely to be used in conjunction with frame structures, but also in parts of masonry building which incorporate localised non-load bearing walls. Thus a more efficient construction would be achieved throughout.
