Abstract: | About 80 per cent of ash produced by modern coal-fired power stations is in the form of a very fine powder. This product is pulverized fuel ash (P.F.A) and it varies in colour from cream to light grey. The remaining agglomerated ash is much coarser and is called Furnace Bottom Ash (F.B.A). |
