Abstract: The Garden City Movement saw its belongings in Britain in the late nineteenth century and it had its foundation deeply rooted in social reforms, with many aspirations for the improvement of the living conditions within the overpopulated, unhygienic city of the nineteenth century. The movement injected new social and aesthetical values which at a later instance influenced greatly other organizations and changed the way how urban designers conceived and planned the city.
