It is impossible for an architect to create an architecture which is not somehow linked to his past. His senses all together pick up signals and form conditions and make decisions of what looks good, what is best for each possible case. Therefore referring to a style or another is not wrong because we possibly still do that unconsciously. Nowadays with all the multimedia appliances present it is taken fore granted that in each and every household there is a constant input of information. With the latest introduction, internet, this input has become greater and has been of a more varied and wide nature. This means that with more knowledge of what is present around us, we automatically can end up designing a project with a similar approach, structurally or aesthetically like a previous architect. Therefore being knowledgeable today of possible solutions to design problems is crucial, since it is lately acknowledged that it is better to be faster rather than precise with the speed that transactions take place all around the global market. This last argument must be understood in Malta as we try to catch up to our European counterparts, in all fields of knowledge and art. We should mature faster, be more responsible and try our best and with pride create a healthy environment that would be positive and fruitful for the coming generation.en_GB
