| Abstract: | Every large-scale rehabilitation project, involves adapting the historic fabric to the 21st century environment. The building must live and interact with today's society and correspond to the modern users' need, desires and wants. The Lazzaretto terrace located on Manoel Island is composed of a series of dilapidated divisions, whose dire strait of repair reflects the building's disconnection from the lifestyle of our present society. |
