Abstract: Inquiring beyond the tangible margins of architecture's second skin, what is the real significance of the graffiti expression? In essence it embodies the discourse with space: in a natural space it traces a conversation with nature; in a man-made context it depicts the open communication across civilizations. Graffiti represent the ongoing dialogue with the designed backdrop, a conciliation towards resolving the real meaning of space through mutual recognition, bonding into a relationship of place. The graffito personifies the metaphor of synthesis constructed throughout the discourse, depicting a new imagery over the former structure. The architectural poetics now articulate a fresh idiom; a vernacular language expressing a new identity through an intimate relationship of spatial communication. Architecture stands as a silent witness to the sands of time, narrating the tale of place through an ephemeral canvas of endless verse.
