Abstract: | This quantitative study was formed to find out and focus how extraverts and introverts University students lead to different patterns of attachment. It focuses on the attachment theory, which states that an individual's process of developing relationships is the result of the attention given by the caregivers to the child when s/he was driven by an innate mechanism to seek attention. This mechanism is called the attachment behavioural system. The aim of this study is to understand whether attachment can affect the extraversion or introversion of the individual. It will give an idea of what type of attachments university students form when having an extrovert personality or an introvert personality. Examining the considerable connections between the extraversion items and attachment items, I would be able to interpret the results and come up with the conclusion of whether more extrovert students have secure attachment or else more introvert students have a secure attachment. |
