This dissertation is a study based on whether there are significant differences when teaching children and adults. In this dissertation I interview two teachers who teach in children and adults. Through these semi-structured interviews I am able to discuss Foucauldian issues with them, in order to shed light on any significant differences that they might come across when teaching children and adults. This dissertation will not only help raise an awareness on any such differences, but will also describe any similarities that they might face in their daily experiences with children and adult learners. I use Foucauldain themes such as, domination, power, knowledge, freedom, relationships, authority, motivation and empowerment, in order to better compare the practices of these teachers with their learners. I strive to come to any visible and definite conclusions on whether there are or there are not any possible differences when it comes to teaching children and adults.en_GB
