| Abstract: | This dissertation is about a composer who, until now, was a minor composer. This study was conducted so as to continue to enrich the history of Maltese music. Lorenzo Gonzi was sixteen when the "motu proprio" - which was the most effective one recently - was issued. Therefore, his works reflect on how the rest of the Maltese composers were composing. |
