Flowslides and debris flows can be surely considered as one of the most dangerous slope movements, for their capability to produce casualties and remarkable economic damage. Such phenomena are widespread in many countries and they involve different kind of soils, generally in a loose state, which in the post failure stage collapse and rapidly reach the toe of the slope; the initial mobilised mass often increases during its path downslope either by inducing additional slope failure and/or by eroding the stable in place soils (Cascini et Al., 2003).en_GB
