Abstract: The present study was conducted to determine the concentration of two heavy metals, Cd and Ni, in cows’ milk. Milk samples were obtained four times following one month intervals. After wet digestion process, they were subjected to atomic absorption spectrophotometry for the determination of above said metals in this milk. The results were discussed in detail at the end to correlate it with the permissible limits of these metals for consumption for humans. The purpose of the study was to provide informations for public awareness and that public should be informed about the potential treat of heavy metals.
