dc.description.abstract▪ Application of different finite element models to simulate the behaviour of masonry is summarized. A particularly modeling technique and ABAQUS code is applied to evaluate performance of masonry walls sheeted with metallic plates (see COST 26 – WG2 – Datasheets “Retrofitting techniques for masonry panel based on steel and/or aluminium sheathing”). The retrofitting solutions and all the numerical analysis are developed within the frame of PROHITECH INCO-CT-2004-509119.en_GB
