Abstract: | This paper examines housing problems of social work clients especially where children are concerned. It also examines the way social workers can help them in order to adopt the type of provision of housing to their particular needs. I analysed the Housing Advocacy Board, which is a board that caters for clients with social and housing problems, assisted by a social work agency. The personal interviews I conducted with both housing clients and social workers have revealed that there are many proposals, new ideas and recommendations. These can be taken into account in the future, in order to make the administration of social housing effective, efficient and more beneficial to the persons most in need. |
