dc.description.abstractComics have been perceived as a medium of entertainment which is full of humour, adventure and fantasy. But comics can increase comprehension, motivation and interest as well. The article talks about the characteristics of comics perceived earlier and discuss a study which aims to find whether the comics had positive effects within instruction. Its focus is to find whether comics can be used as an educational tool to enable cognition at par with text and illustrated text.en_GB
