Abstract: A telephone survey in Malta revealed that 20% of the population suffered from chronic pain (Vella, 2017). Thus, due to such a high prevalence, the primary aim of this study is to acquire an overview of the knowledge of chronic pain and its management among Maltese clinicians. Henceforth, this study may also highlight any clinicians’ educational needs of the clinicians in this field. An observational cross-sectional design survey was done. The study obtained an overview of the knowledge of chronic pain and its management among Maltese clinicians. From the results of the study, knowledge gaps were found in this field. One can conclude that these clinicians may benefit from educational workshops to enhance their knowledge on Chronic pain further. Thus these professionals would benefit from workshops on chronic pain and its’ management (Linkewich et al. 2007).
