Abstract: | Sergio Grech explores the political poetry of Manwel Dimech. Manuel Dimech (25 December 1860, Valletta – 17 April 1921, Alexandria, Egypt) was the pre-eminent social reformer in pre-independence Malta, a philosopher, a journalist, and a writer of novels and poetry. |
Description: | Sergio Grech presents a program about political literature. Politics is a part of our life and the writer feels the need to comment on the everyday politics sometimes in for and sometimes against the regime. The poet uses his poetry to bring out his message and talk for the people who have no voice. It reflects the history of the time. |
