Abstract: This final chapter provides a conclusion of the EPICC project by focusing on the ways in which it innovatively achieved its aims and objectives for each of the three intellectual outputs, and the impact the project has had. Each of these outputs was supported by at least one key project event; specifically, two ‘Multiplier Events’ (ME) at the outset and conclusion of the project, and two ‘Learning/Teaching/Training Activities’ (LTTA) during the project. An overview of the aims and objectives of each output and the concomitant event(s) is provided. Specific information from each event is also summarised, particularly in respect of how the project events positively informed the impact of the project as a whole and resulted in the development of the project’s legacy as the ‘EPICC Network’. Finally, the chapter considers the importance of striving for excellence in spiritual care educational provision in the light of the unprecedented circumstances posed by the coronavirus infection 2019 (COVID-19).
