Abstract: St Paul in his letters to the Romans and Galatians teaches that the life of the Christian as a disciple of Christ is no less than life in the Spirit leading us towards salvation, fulfilment, and perfection. The Apostle's way of understanding the "spiritual life" is the new life that God offers us through Jesus Christ, his Son. In the letters to the Romans, the Apostle reminds the readers of the great privileges Christians bear as sons in the Son, whilst reminding them of their responsibility to the world. [excerpt]
