Buildings are always growing and so is the number of people that inhabit them. In past decades building safety was not a big concern and changes to the safety features of the building were done after something bad happened. Due to the ever increasing numbers of people we need techniques that allows us to calculate and prevent disasters from happening. Crowd simulation is one possible approach available and can be used to assess a buildings safety. In this dissertation we attempt to build a simulator that can simulate crowds that in habit buildings during an emergency and try to predict the effects of such an event to all its inhabitants.en_GB
