Abstract: We present an implementation for the π-calculus as a source-to-source compiler to the Erlang programming language. The π-calculus is a primitive approach inherent of the family of process calculi which are used to formally model concurrent systems. On the other hand, Erlang is a well-known concurrent functional programming language providing several advantages including scalability in concurrent computation while maintaining high performance and reliability. The compiler will be implemented using different schemes which will be compared. They will be evaluated for extensibility, efficiency, correctness of the generated code, and fairness among processes.
