| Abstract: | In this paper we examine a database design methodology, called the Extended Entity Relationship Modelling (EERM), that is able to capture the requirements of advanced application programs (e.g., CASE and CAD tools). The next step is to introduce the computer industry efforts to offer an object-oriented database language and framework. With regards to these, this paper is to give a procedure for the reduction of an EERM into an object-oriented database schema. |
