Abstract: | In this cross-sectional and correlation study, the relationships of subjective well-being, past trauma experience and perceived stress is being discussed. In a sample of tertiary students' experiences, posttraumatic growth was correlated with personality, faith maturity, well-being, and positive affect. Although situational factors and personality did play important roles, this study clearly points at the relevance of faith maturity and posttraumatic growth for the promotion of holistic well-being of those affected by trauma. |
