Abstract: We have previously found in a case-control study that cannabis use is a risk factor for psychosis: compared to healthy controls persons who use cannabis are more than twice as likely to develop psychosis (odds ratio 2.3t. We wished to establish whether any specific characteristics of psychotic patients are associated with abuse of cannabis.
