Abstract: Many applications rely on a foundation of business rules which describe the behavior of an application in various situations in terms of constraints on the data within the application. The application of business rules technologies is considered as one of the main technologies that could be used to personalize different applications. Business rules however have different characteristics and existent personalization tools fail to address such needs as the spectrum of applications targeted is limited. Implementing other tools which address new business needs is not enough; instead a framework that can be extended with different technologies to address the different business rules characteristics is required. The proposed Framework is to provide the fitting infrastructure that enables different rule engines to be integrated to address a wider range of business needs. In turn the Engines jointly produce an array of personalized output.
