The aerobatics and skills of an aeroplane can be only demonstrated during free flight or in flight simulation programs. The movements of an aeroplane also known as the three degrees of freedom are the roll, pitch and yaw. Mounted within an aluminium structure the aeroplane model aims to demonstrate these physical phenomena. The structure of the aluminium casing is based on the principle of a gyroscope where the spinning wheel is being replaced by the aeroplane. The airflow required is provided by means of four D. C. motors attached to the wings of the aeroplane. The communications between the navigator and the independent aeroplane is provided by the design and implementation of a four channel radio control system managing the ailerons, rudder, elevator and throttle.en_GB
