Abstract: The aim of the project was to analyse in extensive detail the response and stability of a bridge inverter. Apart from forming a firm theoretical grounding for the inverter's operation, the main goal inverter's efficiency and reliability, was to optimize the thus freeing it from certain faults. An analytical approach was first set up and during testing and experimentation, the inverter hardware and control procedure were continuously modified. The merits of control for different output voltage waveforms were also discussed. Other inverter configuration were suggested for future development such as in solar energy applications.
