| Abstract: | The aim quadrant controlled of this monograph is to explain how a d.c. drive with circulating current may while being highly immune to misuse four be and external conditions which may cause failure of the drive. Such a drive may be exposed to severe damage due to conditions beyond the operators control. The protection system described in this monograph is capable of protecting a d.c drive of 3KW against these undesirable conditions. |
