Abstract: The aim was to investigate school-related stress among students attending this Gozitan Post Secondary Centre, and following the Matsec Course. The study set out to investigate the relationship between self-reported stress and sex, grade level and subject-area specialisation. It also investigates the coping strategies most commonly used by these students. These results should lead to implications for policy and pedagogy changes, which can be implemented to make the scholastic experience less stressful. These changes will also equip these students with stress prevention skills as a better way of coping with scholastic and possibly even life's stresses.
