Survey on third year trade school leavers : scholastic year, 1987-88

Abstract

This study attempts to present the profiles of those students who are over 16 years of age and left after the third year in 1987/88. A questionnaire was sent to all the students, attending Umberto Colosso and Naxxar Trade Schools. The total number of students was 120 and their ages varied between 18 and 21. The study was based on the attitudes towards the early school leavers. If they found employment, where are they working, how much they earn, if they are studying any other subject or are still at home, etc. Suggestions are also made so that whoever takes care of education including the parents and teachers work more effectively for the benefit of these teenagers.
