| Abstract: | The aim of this project was to manufacture laminates made out of glass fibres in a polyester matrix and investigate their failure characteristics. An such extensive research on the microstructure of composites had to be carried out so as to their mechanisms of failure. Also a study fibres and resins was required, as this understanding their role in the composite. |
