Abstract: Congestion nowadays is a one of the major problems in all transportation networks around the world. The Integrated Traffic Management System aims to reduce this problem by allocating different routes to cars to avoid congested areas. A dynamic cost calculation approach is used in order to combine different parameters that would identify a road with a congestion. A simulation tool was also developed to illustrate the traffic flows in the road network and to evaluate the improvement of the traffic management approach based on the simulated networks.
