Abstract: This study attempts to look in depth into the raison d'ĂȘtre of the College system in Malta, the steps leading to the formation of Colleges in Malta/Gozo and analyze the reasoning why schools were clustered the way they are today. Various factors associated with the new entity have been investigated. The relevant data has been collected through the administration of three questionnaires, purposely constructed, one to the Heads, one to the teachers and the other to the Co-ordinator of the Gozo College. Furthermore, we shall, by means of questionnaires (and interviews), analyse the relationship between the various member schools and objectively evaluate 'productivity' at present in the Gozo College. Feedback from Heads, teachers and the College Co-ordinator is to be obtained through questionnaires and interviews. We shall therefore be objectively witnessing any presence - or lack of - collegiality between the member schools of the Gozo College. Finally, proposals for closer collaboration and networking are to be put forward with a major focus on IT.
