Abstract: Learning objectives - The purpose of this exhibit is:
1. Modality-based description of the distinguishing imaging features of Ankylosing Spondylitis of the spine, supplemented with a collection of images.
2. To highlight the role of magnetic resonance imaging in the detection of early cartilage changes and bone marrow oedema of the sacroiliac joints.
3. An educational tool for the radiologists-in-training.
