| dc.description.abstract | Background: Aspergillus species are ubiquitous fungi found throughout nature. Pulmonary infections are commonly caused by Aspergillus fumigatus, and have traditionally been classified into four categories: invasive aspergillosis, semi-invasive aspergillosis (Chronic necrotizing aspergillosis), saprophtic aspergillosis and allergic aspergillosis.
