Abstract: Web Services (WS) are used for development of distributed applications containing native code assembled with references to remote Web Services. There are thousands of Web Services available on Web but the problem is how to find an appropriate WS by discovering its details, i.e. description of functionality of object methods exposed for public use. Several models have been suggested, some of them implemented, but so far none of them allowing systematic, publicly available, search. This paper suggests a model for publishing WS in a flexible way which allows an automated way of finding the desired Web Service by category and/or functionality without having to access any dedicated servers. The search results in a narrow set of Web Services suitable for problem solution according to the user specification.
