Authors: Caruana, David Alan (1995)
Keywords: Electrical engineering
Control theory
Adaptive signal processing
Issue Date: 1995
Citation: Caruana, D. A. (1995). Adaptive phase and frequency response control of a high fidelity system (Bachelor's dissertation).
Abstract: This work documents the design and implementation of an approach towards automatic equalisation of a high fidelity system. The system employs adaptive control of phase delays and frequency response to maximise sound quality. The system design specification includes variable delay on each of the sound channels from 0 to l 60ms, automatic frequency response compensation and total computer control through an easy-to-use graphical interface. Included are implemented designs for the whole system.
