Abstract: Radio for direction finding is used in a great amount of applications which range from transmitter hunting as a sport to location of downed aircraft. RDF equipment is used to track down noise sources or illegal operators from unidentified stations. Radio navigation is also an application of RDF. This has pushed governments and commercial enterprises towards the development of state of the art equipment. This project work deals with the design of a simple RDF system which could nevertheless be used for some practical work.
