Citation: Grech, M. (1990). A study on nickel aluminium bronze (Bachelor's dissertation).
Abstract: A comprehensive study was carried out on a Nickel Aluminium copper alloy commonly referred to as AB2. This study consisted of conducting a series of heat treatments and observing the changes occurring in micro-structure and corresponding change in mechanical properties on Aluminium bronze, which is a strong and corrosion resistant material. This alloy covers many engineering applications in both cast and wrought form. It is also an ideal material for the manufacture of ship propellers. Hence comparing it with properties of another viz Manganese bronze. An investigation on the effect of heat treatment and properties of alloy, as strength, elongation, hardness, impact and fatigue.
