A bibliography of early printed monographs at the Missionary Society of Saint Paul library, printed before 1800

Abstract

Printing before 1800 was not so prolific. This makes the listing of collections monographs of early printed monographs, available in Religious houses and other institutions, a very useful bibliographic tool for scholars and students who may be interested in such monographs in order to make use of them in their thesis. One way of getting to know such collections is by encouraging the compilation of bibliographies carrying enough information about the items in such collections. This bibliography is hoped to be an example of how other similar libraries may compile their own bibliography.
