Abstract

The short stories presented through comic strips are a means to deliver a main message to children - the importance of healthy living and nutritious food. The educational contributions in this book also encompass various subjects; besides children’s nutrition and local foods, topics like reading as an enjoyable experience, enjoyable outings, physical activity, friendships, etc. These learning resources promote a child’s well-being and are targeted to young Maltese children.
