Abstract: "It cannot be denied that some people are different. But it should be denied that 'only' some people are different. All people are unique and different. Thus it makes little sense to talk about the child who is different-who is not different? Inclusion of pupils with learning difficulties in ordinary schools and classrooms is part of a large worldwide human rights movement which calls for the full inclusion of all people with disabilities in all aspects of life. Inclusion is not an issue for science, it is a moral issue. A policy of Integration in education is the best and most effective way in line with this morality. If we want an integrated society in which all persons are considered of equal worth and as having equal rights, segregation in any form from schools has no justification. It is simply unfair and immoral to segregate any student, including those defined as disabled, from the mainstream of regular education "We must ...... consider some solutions, some of the directions for action, which can be taken now and not wait till tomorrow" (Kendal, 1971, p7.)
