Abstract: | Once again the Catholic Church in Malta is celebrating Charity Day, and this year's theme is "Giving is more beautiful than receiving" (all church collections next Saturday evening and on Sunday will go towards Church homes, institutes and charitable activities). When hearing the word charity, our first impulse is usually to think of a donation (generally of a financial nature) to those who are in some way less fortunate than we are. This is true; however, it is far from being the whole truth and nothing but the truth. |
