Abstract: Every Police Officer all over the globe undergoes various stress due to the nature of his work, thus lots of studies have been carried out to find out about any remedies that can better their conditions and decrease their level of stress. Unfortunately due to these stressors the wives and partners of Police Officers, also experience stress however; few studies were carried out to deal with this problem. This essay assesses the type of stressors that affect the wives and partners and how they deal with this issue. The authors, both serving members of the Malta Police Force, draw and evaluate on the experiences and opinions of the wives and partners of Maltese Police Officers. This is done in order to find out the reactions of these wives and partners, on how they look at the force and the stressors it incorporates. This essay gives also suggestions and opinions of these wives and partners on how they can have a happy and solid relationship no matter the stressors.
