Abstract: This study sets out to analyse the lives of women during pregnancy. A research study was carried out to examine how and in which ways the lives of expectant mothers change during pregnancy. In this study, the researcher is going to have a closer look at the main factors, which are effecting the pregnant women. Women's maternal role has profound effects on women's lives. The purpose of this study is to suggest how the experience of reproduction can be improved. The study sample was made up of 31 pregnant women, who were coming from all walks of life. The research was based on a questionnaire, which included both structured and open-ended questions to allow the respondents to express their views and opinions. A participant observation was also carried out to gather more relevant data. This study concludes by discussing results and recommendations in view of the findings that can be implemented to make the experience of pregnancy a more positive one.
