Citation: Grech, M. (2011). A study on water infiltration and percolation in soils having contrasting textural characteristics (Diploma long essay).
Abstract: Water infiltration and percolation in soil is a function of various parameters. Soil texture is one of the most important factors. Water infiltration and percolation in some soils from Gozo were determined in the laboratory. Water percolation was different in the different soils used. It was shown that the higher the clay content in the soils the slower was the infiltration and percolation.
