This research project forms part of a study by a group of ten course participants from the Programme of Youth Studies. This was done in co-ordination with the 'Oasi Foundation', an agency based in Gozo. The number of issues tackled in this study were various but for this project the themes I chose to focus upon were Leisure and Entertainment, and Commitment. My studies during this course made me much more aware on the importance such issues mean to young people, in their transition journey from childhood to adulthood. My life experiences led me to appreciate the values such topics hold and their relavance and influences on one's lifestyle. Together, these the two factors, were determinant in making such a choice of topics. The aim of this study was to analyse the concepts and activities related to these themes and how these fit in a Gozitan context. The source of data collection derived from two sets of fifty questionnaires, twenty interviews and four discussions. This triangulation method was used for its wider opportunities available when the answers required went beyond the yes or no reply. The results obtained are analysed in both a qualitative and quantitative method. From the conclusions reached I forwarded my suggestions which I feel would be beneficial for both the Programme of Youth Studies and also to the Oasi Foundation (Gozo).en_GB
