The School of Performing Arts at the University of Malta, in collaboration with the University Students of Performing Arts Association (USPA) will be celebrating the 150th Anniversary of Alice in Wonderland by organising readings and mini-lectures during a tea party that is to be held at Palazzo de Piro in Mdina, on Sunday 22 November 2015, at 16:00
Students will entertain guests by reading out excerpts from Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass and playing music related to Alice and the other magic characters from the books.
Lecturers will be giving three-minute presentations about various aspects of Alice and her creator, Lewis Carroll, in relation to games theory, philosophy, mathematics and more…
Added to all this entertainment, a make-up artist will be available for face-painting inspired by characters from the books.
Audience members who may wish to participate more actively may take part in the readings, or select their own.
