The Department of History of Art, Faculty of Arts, in collaboration with the Mdina Cathedral Contemporary Art Biennale and the Valletta2018 Foundation, is organising the Josef Kalleya Conference entitled ‘Peripheral Alternatives to Rodin in Modern European Sculpture’ with particular emphasis on Josef Kalleya’s art and the visual dialogues of an island scene.
The conference will be held on Tuesday 15 December at the University of Malta Valletta Campus.
The convenor of the conference is Dr Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci while the conference coordinator is Nikki Petroni.
