The Department of Disability Studies within the Faculty for Social Wellbeing at the University of Malta is organising the 2nd Gordon C. Cardona Memorial Lecture. The lecture entitled 'In search of an Oasis: impaired bodies in a disabling society' will be delivered by Vickie Gauci, Head of the Department of Disability Studies. The lecture will be held on Friday 22 April from 18:00 to 19:30 at the Faculty of ICT Auditorium (Level -1), University of Malta Msida Campus.

'ZoneMind: Reaching within ... Grasping beyond' is a blog that Gordon Cardona kept between 2011 and 2014. This lecture will be based on a selection of Gordon's writings from his blog in which he reflects on the concepts of 'change' and 'difference' and how these mark his journey 'in search of an oasis'.
